Alan Fischer directs Ambrosio’s adaptation of M. G. Lewis’s Gothic book The Monk. He portrays a non-known Marissa Marcel as the infamous Matilda.
1970
John Durick wrote Minsky, his thriller with Marcel in mind. Set in New York City, the film is about the murder of an artist who is famous and Marissa portrays the role of the muse suspect of killing him.
1999
Marcel and Durick team up again to celebrate Marcel’s final performance after the long absence. The film Two of Everything is a subversive thriller which explores the ambiguity between a popular pop star and her body duplicate.
These films never ever released. They were believed to have been lost or destroyed. Until now.
